5 ways to start loving your body

Everyone gets hung up about a certain body part once in a while, but if your body bashing occurs 100 times a day, you're probably attacking your soul. Here are five ways to curb the self-criticism and feel good about the way you look:
1. Limit your scale time. It will help boost your confidence if you check your weight once a week rather than once a day.
2. Stop comparing yourself to other women. When you walk into a room, do you immediately scan it to see if anyone is better looking or better dressed than you? Whenever this happens, swap negative comments for positive ones. Seeing the good in others will help you see the positive in you.
3. Hang out with people who make you feel good. When you're with other body-bashers, your self-esteem plummets.
4. Talk pretty. Write down positive things about your body and post these notes in frequently viewed places. Replacing your negative thoughts will change how you look at yourself.
5. Change your body language. Rather than slouching, which implies a lack of confidence, stand tall. Holding your head high when you walk will help you feel proud and confident.
