As a kid in West Texas, Leslie Pritchard remembers "sitting out in the barn, stripping and repairing furniture." Now the owner of Again & Again has a crew to help, and a cheerful frame house at the corner of Bonita and Henderson filled floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall, with vintage finds awaiting adoption by new owners.

Some pieces, like the pair of low-slung '50s chairs recovered in cotton velvet, have already been re-done by Pritchard and her elves. But most are in the "before" stage, and priced accordingly. (We scored a pair of wingbacks for about half the cost of the silvery faux snakeskin used to recover them.) "I'm so passionate about these older pieces, their history and quality," says Pritchard.

"There's 100 ways to make each sofa or chair different and special ... I think of it as saving the world, one piece of furniture at a time."
