”I have been with my boyfriend for almost five years. Lately he has been spending a lot of time with his one friend who I can't stand. I know all it is, is jealousy just because I like him to give me the attention he is giving his friend. I just don't know what to do because they are more of a couple then we are. I let him know how I feel but he doesn't understand why I am so mad.”
Coupledom does not mean exclusivity when it comes to friendships. You're each entitled to your own separate friends, and your time away from couple hood. When your boyfriend is spending time with his buddy, then that's the perfect time for you to go spend time with your girls. You'll get loads of attention from them, and you won't even have time to feel angry that the boyfriend is busy doing something else. Then you'll be free to enjoy your time with your boyfriend as a loving couple without the jealousy getting in the way.
