National Breast Cancer Awareness month may still be two weeks away, but the Council of Fashion Designers of America and net-a-porter.com always like to be a step ahead of the pack.

The two organizations have just launched a joint initiative to offer a series of limited- edition items bearing the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer logo.

First up? A Ralph Lauren fitted polo that makes its debut in a splashy ad campaign featuring top models Daria Werbowy, Lily Donaldson, Lily Cole, Du Juan and Sasha Pivovarova, each wearing the shirt in one of five available colors.

Net-a-porter has established an FTBC store within its Web site, and visitors also can click to view a behind-the-scenes video from the campaign's Patrick Demarchelier photo shoot. Designs from Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta and Rachel Roy will debut later in the year, with 100 percent of net profits benefiting FTBC.

Since its inauguration in 1994, FTBC has

raised more than $40 million for breast cancer charities in 13 countries. For more info, go to fashiontargetsbreastcancer.org.

And make that mammogram appointment.
