Opening the mail last week made us blush a furious shade of crimson, something quite unusual in an office accustomed to all manner of outrageous press releases and books.

The stories in the book we reviewed this week made us feel like we were back in grade school, seeing our friend's dad's nudie mag collection for the first time.

Boink: College Sex by the People Having It

edited by Alecia Oleyourryk, Christopher Anderson and Vanessa M. White ($14.95, Grand Central Publishing)

So, what to do if you're an undergrad having lots of sex? Well, if you're a group of entrepreneurial Boston University students, you start a magazine. Boink bills itself as "the definitive college guide to carnal knowledge."

We're not really sure if sex is so different on campus as opposed to off-campus, except the increased likelihood of it happing in a twin-sized bed.

That said, this book certainly explores the more erotic aspects of relationships among undergrads. They've collected quite a few stories from students at universities around the country and illustrated them.

Belly-button piercings? Bi-curious? Barely legal? Blow jobs? Yes to all. Make no mistake: This book is graphic. Not quite enough to require a brown cover and be sold from behind a convenience store counter, but almost.

This might be more about full-frontal than forever love, but that's kind of the point. College is not the time that most people are getting married or committing to life partners, so they play. And they're naked a lot, it appears.
