Family First Day In The Community at Frisco Fire Safety Town takes place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008. This FREE event will focus on Severe-Weather preparedness and features appearances by News 8 Meteorologists Greg Fields, Steve McCauley and Meghan Danahey. There will be giveaways and loads of informative fun for the entire family.

Frisco Fire Safety Town features a hands-on, interactive environment that offers creative ways for families to learn about fire, severe-weather and internet safety. Safety Town's most popular outdoor element is a "miniature town," featuring custom homes, replicas of popular businesses and city structures plus a working toll booth – all built to scale with children in mind.
