Fans of David Mamet have a reason to rejoice, Redbelt is one of his best films, starring Chewitel Ejuofor as a martial arts instructor who finds himself involved in all kinds of chaos including a hot-headed policeman, a movie hero played-well by Tim Allen, and a screen load of con men.

The world of hand to hand combat is on full display in Mamet's smartened up screenplay, and his direction is both solid and invigorating. Redbelt is the best new film opening this week.
